Position Description
Appalachian State University's Department of Recreation Management and Physical Education (RMPE) continuously seeks qualified applicants for part-time (adjunct) lecturer positions in the Physical Education Activity Program (PEA). Responsibilities
Adjunct faculty typically teach 1-6 hours of physical education activity courses based on candidate qualifications and departmental needs.

Required Qualifications
Demonstrated teaching experience/expertise in content area.
Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications
Applicable certifications/training.
CPR/First Aid training.

Salary
Doctorate/Terminal Degree$1,240 per semester/credit hour.
Master’s Degree $1,116 per semester/credit hour.
Bachelor’s Degree $992 per semester/credit hour.
