Sport Science and Coaching
The HPEC program offers a Sport Science and Coaching (SS&C) minor, a secondary academic concentration (SAC) for teacher education students, and a stand-alone certificate. These SS&C programs are geared toward individuals who aspire to become coaches in interscholastic, recreational, club, college and university, and Olympic contexts. The foundational component for each offering is a suite of online courses from the American Sport Education Program, a premiere leader in coaching education.
