Swimming for Non-swimmers

Course Description: 
This course is designed to develop fundamental swimming skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, developing confidence in the water, floating, treading water, kicks, and beginning stroke progressions. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to be more confident in the water and make healthy life choices. Requirements: Designed for students with no deep-water experience.
