Self-Defense

Course Description: 
This course is designed to develop fundamental self-defense skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, judgement, stances, blocks, punches, and kicks, as well as strategic responses to various encounters and non-physical means of self-defense. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in self-defense situations and make healthy life choices.
