Weight Training

Course Description: 
This course is designed to develop fundamental resistance training skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, stretching, core exercises, etiquette, lifting techniques, and program design. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to participate in a weight training program and make healthy life choices.
