Course Description:
This course is designed to develop fundamental tai chi martial arts skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, stretching, and exploration of body/energy awareness, proper breathing, physical/mental centeredness, grace, balance, and fluid body movements. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to participate in tai chi practice and make healthy life choices.
