RM 3157 ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION SKILLS Field Trip

Sarah, Allison, and David did an outstanding job today with the 70 -second graders from West-wood elementary school. The Appalachian State team led hikes, songs and presented activities about plants, life cycles, soil, and bugs. All of the children experienced nature and were so excited to be learning outdoors!!Thank you so much for allowing these students to miss class in order to present these high quality Environmental Education programs at Mt. Jefferson State Natural Area. They even had an opportunity to  sing the Water Cycle Bogie and Dirt Made My Lunch - Those are old Banana Slug band songs. Thanks, Tom Randolph img_4362_2.jpgimg_4339_2.jpgimg_4383_2.jpgimg_4425.jpg
