Kung Fu

Course Description: 
This course is designed to develop fundamental kung fu martial arts skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, etiquette, judgement, exploration of body/energy awareness, physical/mental centeredness, fluid body movements in stances, blocks, punches, and kicks, and self-defense. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to participate in kung fu practice and make healthy life choices.
