Course Description:
This course is designed to develop fundamental jogging/conditioning skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, stretching, core exercises, distance running, interval training, games, circuit training, and calisthenics. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to participate in a jogging program and make healthy life choices.
