Intermediate Yoga

Course Description: 
This course provides a continuation in the development of yoga skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, stretching, core exercises, and proper breathing, relaxation techniques, body positioning, posture, meditation, and balance in more advanced body positions. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to participate in yoga practice and make healthy life choices. Requirements: Students should have past yoga experience.
