Department of Recreation Management and Physical Education

This course is designed to develop fundamental field hockey skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, rules, dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, field positioning, and tactics/strategies. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to participate in field hockey games and make healthy life choices.
