How did you discover Appalachian State University?
"While in college at East Tennessee State University I would travel to the High Country to explore
the mountains and the climbing. I fell in love with the region and how remote some of the places
felt."
What most excites you about your field?
"Being able to introduce folks to our region's mountains! I love helping people recognize their own
growth potential within themselves and amongst their peers, and the outdoors serves as a
fantastic classroom setting for groups to learn and grow together."
