Course Description:
This course is designed to develop fundamental cardio kickboxing group fitness skills and knowledge. Topics include history, terminology, wellness, safety, equipment, stretching, core exercises, and fast-paced rhythmic aerobic routines, proper breathing, body positioning, and balance in a variety of non-contact movements. Upon successful completion, students should be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to participate in cardio kickboxing classes and make healthy life choices.
